Deaconess Ministry
Mission Statement

She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness (Proverbs 31: 20, 25-26).

Aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good thing; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husband, that the Word of God be not blasphemed (Titus 2:3-5).

The mission of the Deaconess Board of Neabsco Baptist Church is primarily to live and teach in accordance to the scriptures in Titus 2:3-5. Also, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to enrich the lives of Neabsco Baptist Church members and the community through training, prayer, and sympathetic support; sustaining the ordinances, and preparing the elements of Holy Communion and Baptism; supporting the Pastor and Deacons, and witnessing to everyone the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
