Couples Ministry

Couples Ministry

The Couples ministry provides godly encouragement, and perspective to married and engaged couples so that their relationship would remain fresh and be continually renewed in Him.

As marriage was ordained by God, our desire is to help couples understand its riches and intimacy as He intended.  As communication is a cornerstone of an enduring partnership, our desire is to equip marriages with practical insights and healthy habits for ongoing exchange of thoughts and desires.

As God’s desire is for marriage to be a life-long partnership, our desire is to prompt the marriage partners to discuss and pray over their plans and dreams for their future as companions, parents, and mentors.

The couples' class, meets monthly on the 1st Wednesday from 7:00-9pm.   The class will begin in January 2012 with an exciting study led by Pastor Speights & First Lady Rubbie Speights and is open to married and engaged couples of all ages.

The ministry is meant to symbolize all that is good and enduring in a happy and maturing marital relationship.  Marriage will have many days enriched with sweet memories, and it will have days as the moon--dry and dusty. Nevertheless, the precious gift of enduring through it all makes the marriage stronger, deeper and more rewarding

We welcome your input and will make every effort to address the needs of the Body of Christ at Neabsco.  We have created a survey to gather you thoughts...please take a few minutes to give us your feedback.

Daily Manna from the 'Net [KJV] - Daily Manna from the 'Net for Thursday, December 31, 2009 [Mark 2:7-12]
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Mark 2:7-12 KJV
