HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Becoming a member of Neabsco Baptist Church is all about commitment. Our commitment is to help you become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

We believe that four spiritual disciplines are vital to your spiritual development:

• Grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ
• Connect in biblical community
• Serve in your God-given ministry
• Share the message of Jesus Christ

Becoming a member is a way for you to demonstrate your commitment to us as a Church Body.

If you would like Neabsco Baptist Church to be your home, and you share our passion for making an impact on secular Prince William County, VA., we invite you to become a member and help us proclaim the message of Jesus Christ. Members participate in quarterly congregational meetings and vote on important issues such as the election of officers, the annual budget and other projects, such as a new House of Worship.

In addition, membership is required for ministry leadership positions such as teachers, administrative and technical support. We encourage spiritual growth and worship through Baptism, Holy Communion and giving financially.

MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
  • By letter, Christian experience or baptism
  • Attend a New Member Orientation
This class is held each week unless otherwise noted. Attendance to this class is a requirement for all prospective members desiring to work as a ministry lead. This is a great way to learn about our vision, values, staff, and beliefs.

It is also your opportunity to ask Joshua W. Speights Jr., our Pastor, questions about the church.

Daily Manna from the 'Net [KJV] - Daily Manna from the 'Net for Thursday, December 31, 2009 [Mark 2:7-12]
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Mark 2:7-12 KJV
