Vision Statement

The vision of the Board of Deaconess of Neabsco Baptist Church is to continue a ministry of servant hood while supporting the Pastor and Deacons, in fostering peace, love and Christian unity in the church and the community. In the same manner, provide an outreach of discipline, to bring women and children to the knowledge and spiritual maturity in Christ Jesus.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Deaconess Board of Neabsco Baptist Church is primarily to live and teach in accordance to the scriptures in Titus 2:3-5. Also, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to enrich the lives of Neabsco Baptist Church members and the community through training, prayer, and sympathetic support; sustaining the ordinances, and preparing the elements of Holy Communion and Baptism; supporting the Pastor and Deacons, and witnessing to everyone the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Scriptural References: "She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness." (Proverbs 31: 20, 25-26). "Aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good thing; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husband, that the Word of God be not blasphemed." (Titus 2:3-5).

Daily Manna from the 'Net [KJV] - Daily Manna from the 'Net for Thursday, December 31, 2009 [Mark 2:7-12]
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Mark 2:7-12 KJV
