OUTREACH MINISTRIES

Overseas Mission

Vision Statement

Our vision is to help minimize poverty within the Haitian population by offering monetary support.

Mission Statement

Neabsco Baptist Church partners with the “Good Samaritan Organization” in a cooperative effort to ensure that God’s words and works of love, hope, grace and faith are presented to people who are living broken lives because of shattered dreams.

The Good Samaritan Organization is a non-profit organization that was founded by Haitian born Omnes Bathelemy and his family with the strong desire to aid  fellow Haitians by exercising their faith to help restore dignity, self-respect and worth, as well as empower them with hope by sharing the Word of God.

Neabsco has supported this effort by providing financial support to purchase bibles,  food, water and other necessary items  to meet basic needs, improve quality of life, and promote self-sufficiency.  Financial contributions have also  purchased medicine and medical supplies, as well as school uniforms, supplies, and meals for those children fortunate enough to attend school.

Haiti has fallen victim to political oppression and natural disasters, such as hurricanes and earthquakes, in recent years.  Our mission is to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to God’s people.

Scripture Reference: Matthew 25:35-40

35For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Daily Manna from the 'Net [KJV] - Daily Manna from the 'Net for Thursday, December 31, 2009 [Mark 2:7-12]
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Mark 2:7-12 KJV
