Vision Statement

Each Sunday, members of Neabsco Baptist Church are scripturally commanded and spiritually encouraged to greet all visitors who grace our congregation with their presence on occasion (“and above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover a multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the grace of God.” – 1 Peter 4:8 -10).

 

Mission Statement

Our mission is to make a positive impact amongst the visiting congregation and our church body by creating and maintaining a welcoming place where all individuals, inside and outside this church, can grow and flourish in their faith in doing so without complaining but at all times representing God.

 

Scriptural Reference -“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

Description Of Responsibilities

  • Welcome all visitors into the house of the Lord.
  • Encourage each other in love & use the power of words to speak life everywhere we go.
  • Continue to stay in contact with the visitors.
  • Arrive and set up at 7:15 for the 7:45 service and 10:30 for the 11:00 service.
  • Once the welcoming of visitors is announced we greet them with a warm smile and an encouraging word to return to this house of Zion or assist with finding another church affiliation. 
  • Ensure that the Pastor & First Lady meet the visitors.
  • Coordinate quarterly socials with the Pastor, First Lady and new members.
  • Assist all ministries within Neabsco as requested.
