OUTREACH MINISTRIES

Evangelism

Vision Statement

Our vision is that all people receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, allowing the Holy Spirit and the word of God as presented in the Holy Bible to direct their life, and desire to be connected to a local Christian church body.

Mission Statement

Proclaim faith, hope, and a love of God, through Jesus Christ, to all people.

Description Of Responsibilities

Neabsco Baptist Church Evangelism Ministry (NBCEM) is a preaching and teaching ministry to the local church community. NBCEM operates, primarily, outside of the Neabsco Baptist Church (NBC) facility and in the surrounding church community. NBCEM presents the way of Christ, the joy in Christian living, advertises church ministries and conducts Christian functions in the community to promote a healthy local community and a community that is connected to its local Christian church(es).

NBCEM is made up of Neabsco Baptist Church (NBC) members who desire to “Build on the Foundation of Jesus Christ,” by thoroughly immersing people who do not “know” Christ or understand the love of God towards them through the giving of his Son, Christ Jesus, and sending of His Holy Spirit in the world to guide them into all truth. NBCEM also focuses on reconnecting those Christians who have become disconnected from the local church body. NBCEM encourages those disconnected Christians to, again, place their faith in Jesus Christ, walk upright according to the Holy Scriptures, and be accountable to a local church body. NBCEM’s goal is to develop Christian character through discipleship, worship, ambassadorship, fellowship, and relationship.

NBCEM seeks to provide a thorough knowledge of GOD, and His love, grace, and mercy through the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. NBCEM instructs people concerning their responsibility to place one's faith, trust, and obedience in Christ Jesus alone. NBCEM teaches people how to observe the mighty works of God in their life through the working of His Holy Spirit, how to live in peace by adhering to Christian ethics, principles, and responsibilities and how to understand the sufficiency of God to save and keep them saved unto glorification. NBCEM conducts Ministry member training on evangelism, Christian theology, world religions, apologetics, and other pertinent evangelistic topics.

NBCEM members will be committed to prayer and thanksgiving; and to developing in knowledge and holiness. NBCEM members will be committed to live a life that pleases God and have a love for Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God’s word. NBCEM members will demonstrate their love for God by how they interact with their immediate family; “to those persons of the household of faith;” and to people “outside of the arc of safety.” NBCEM members will seek to instill a love, trust, confidence in the present work of Christ Jesus, and a blessed hope of His return. NBCEM will seek to develop an understanding of the relational love of God towards mankind and to develop a reciprocating love in mankind towards GOD: the Father/Christ Jesus/Holy Spirit.

NBCEM is established at the discretion of the Pastor and Church board, and by combined agreement may terminate the ministry and or alter any of its programs or membership.

Daily Manna from the 'Net [KJV] - Daily Manna from the 'Net for Thursday, December 31, 2009 [Mark 2:7-12]
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Mark 2:7-12 KJV
